Objective
This course prepares participants for the intacs® certified Competent
Assessor exam and builds on the previous Provisional Assessor courses. Participants
gain valuable knowledge and practical skills to lead an assessment as a Certified
Competent Assessor within their own organization, at other companies, or at suppliers.
To prepare for the course, participants are given homework assignments that are
presented during the course. Active participation throughout the course is
required and is the key to success.

Prerequisites

Several years of professional experience in the industry (e.g., software/systems development, project management, quality management)

Valid certification as an intacs® certified Provisional Assessor

To attend the training: proof of at least 3 assessment LOGs
-
→
To certify as a Competent Assessor: at least 5 assessment LOGs totaling 250 hours of assessment experience
Framework & Exam

Maximum of 12 participants per course

Participants are evaluated by the course instructor using an observation form (active participation, quality of presentations, attendance)

The exam takes place on the last day of the course and is administered by VDA QMC or ECQA – depending on your Provisional Assessor certification

Passing the exam is a prerequisite for applying for Competent Assessor certification with VDA QMC or ECQA
